In the midst of subsiding pandemics and flourishing flu, the old year went and the new year came. We hope you had a decent holiday season with your loved ones, with good food and drink (let’s be honest, probably too much of either), and a chance to rest a bit.
For us, 2023 already looks very promising and we have lots of opportunities coming up. So, we expect this new year to be an even more successful one than the old year was. Let’s thrive. Together.
And let’s start with our first newsletter this year, filled with good and bad news, upcoming dates you might want to save, and release notes of the newest monthly Bondix S.A.NE release version.
More Supported Router Models
Good news first: Around the end of last year, our developers made sure that Bondix S.A.NE now also supports Teltonika router models RUT241 and RUT951/956. So, if you have these devices or plan on buying some, you can now also benefit from Bondix S.A.NE bonding.
Which brings us to the not so good news:
Two weeks ago, Wired Broadcast’s Johnnie Dymock announced that they had to close their business after 32 years. Martin and I, all of our colleagues here at Bondix and actually everybody we spoke with, are deeply, deeply saddened by this news. Wired Broadcast has been an unbelievable joy to work with from the very beginning, with an amazingly constructive and supportive approach towards customers, partners and any mutual business. All their employees, from top to bottom, were heartwarmingly friendly, incredibly knowledgeable in their respective fields, and, when it came to training, always keen to learn and understand more.
We sincerely hope that all of you will find your way moving forward, and that we’ll meet again, one way or the other. Take care, friends and please stay in touch! ❤️
With ever more partners joining the Bondix network, we'd like to use our reach to point out events that our partners or we organize or attend and that might be of interest to all of you.

Bondix S.A.NE January 2023 Release Notes
Our developers work on Bondix S.A.NE software incrementally which means that bug fixes, improvements, and even new features are constantly added, producing new release versions every couple of days.
On a monthly basis, we publish a version that combines all changes added since the last version.
This January 2023 Release contains the following changes, including an important security update for the S.A.NE server:
Remote shell / webSSH With this new feature, you can open up a remote shell in your server’s web interface connecting your server to your router via webSSH. As this function can pose a possible security threat, it is disabled by default.
Teltonika FW 7.03.2 support We now fully support Teltonika’s 7.03.2 firmware. However, due to our experience during testing, we recommend you reset your router after updating to this Bondix Release Version in order to ensure you achieve the bandwidths you’re used to.
Over-usage warning The Bondix S.A.NE server web interface now gives out a warning when license over-usage is detected.
Handshake crash We’ve identified and fixed an issue that could result in a crash/restart of the server daemon when a tunnel is reconnecting in quick succession.
